Sentab strives constantly to improve its services and products in order to have a higher impact on its users. For that, we need to understand better our user preferences and choices and, thus, process some personal data. Please help us contribute to that, as only with your help we can make Sentab a product, which changes the lives of people. The following stipulates how we collect and use your personal data in doing so.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Sentab Estonia OÜ (“we”) collect, use and disclose personal data, and the steps we take to protect such personal data, that we collect when providing the Sentab interactive entertainment and social communication and health system (“Sentab”) via the graphical display device (“Device”), Web interface (“Web”) and mobile application (“App”).
This Policy applies to personal data collected by the Device, Web and App about you.
RESPONSIBLE PERSON
Sentab is owned and operated by Sentab Estonia OÜ, a company registered in the Republic of Estonia, who is responsible for the processing of your personal data.
HOW AND WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
The personal data we collect depends on who you are and whether you are using Sentab via the Device, Web or App. In general, we may collect the following personal data in the following ways:

You may choose to provide your personal data (e.g. name, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, billing information, pictures, videos etc) upon registration, providing photo and video captions, using the chat, signing up for alerts and newsletters, creating or sharing events, participating in communities, responding to the quizzes, product purchase dates, or otherwise using Sentab, as well as contacting us etc.
You also may choose to provide your sensitive personal data (i.e. activity data) upon using wearable devices, which collect activity related information and communicate that information to the Device.
You may, of course, decline to share certain personal data with us, in which case we may not be able to provide to you some or all of the features and functionality of Sentab. The required data, without which it is not possible to register or use Sentab is marked accordingly.

We also collect certain other data by automated means, such as cookies and web beacons, when you visit our Web (e.g. IP address, browser type, operating Sentab, referring URLs, information on actions taken on a website, and dates and times of website visits). For more information, see the section “Cookies and web beacons” below.

We collect certain other data by automated means if you use Sentab via a Device. We collect statistics on your use of Sentab (e.g. how much time is used watching pictures, other media, making calls, linking media, watching TV, and playing games, what Sentab media is being watched, and how accurate are the responses on questions asked in games and polls etc) (“User Statistics”).

We may collect your historic preferences and shopping history via our e-commerce section or other services (“Customised Services”) if you use Sentab via the Web or App.

We may receive information about you if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide. We are also working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies) and may receive information about you from them.
App
When using Sentab via the App, in addition to the previous, your permission may be asked for the following:

to access the media in the mobile device (e.g. photos, videos). This is needed in case you would like to upload such content from your mobile device;

to access and read the contacts in the mobile device. This is needed for auto complete and is not collected but only used locally;

to read your mobile number. This is needed for authentication and push notifications;

to access your geographical location.
Cookies and web beacons
Cookies and web beacons are only applicable when using Sentab via Web.
Cookies are small text files that are installed on your computer from websites that you visit. The following types of cookies are normally used:

strictly necessary/essential cookies without which it is not possible to use Sentab;

performance cookies that collect information about how you use Sentab and are used to improve how Sentab works;

functionality cookies that allow the website to remember choices you make (e.g. user name, language) and provide enhanced, more personal features;

behaviourally targeted advertising cookies that are used to deliver adverts most relevant to you and your interests. They are usually placed by advertising networks with the website operator’s permission. They remember that you have visited a website and this information is shared with other organisations (e.g. advertisers).
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through the settings of the web browser. We do not ask for your consent to use strictly necessary/essential cookies when it is not possible to use the Sentab without the use of such cookies.
Web beacons (clear GIFs) are single-pixel graphic files with a unique identifier, similar to cookies that are stored on your hard drive. They are used to access cookies and count users who visit our Web.
We are using Facebook and Google web beacons to track the conversion statistics from online marketing channels.
Most web browsers allow you to control web beacons through the settings of the web browser
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
In general, we may use your personal data for the following purposes:

to perform under the Agreement (e.g. to make it possible to use Sentab and the functionalities thereof; to provide assistance; to collect the payment etc);

to personalise Sentab; to provide customised advertisements, content, services and information;

to contact you; to collect feedback;

to monitor your mood and behaviour by analysing the User Statistics;

to develop Sentab further;

to exercise any rights and obligations ensuing from the law (e.g. transferring personal data to another entity who needs to perform under this Policy upon the transferal of our assets to that entity or our merger with another entity; accounting; resolving disputes and protecting our rights etc).
We use your personal data for any other purposes only with your prior consent.
HOW WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We only disclose your personal data to third parties if it is provided in this Policy or the law and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose your personal data to the following third parties:

the User, the family members and/or the caretakers.

service providers we use in order to provide you Sentab and perform under the Agreement (e.g. hosting service, credit card payment service, CRM). We remain responsible for your personal data and take all necessary measures to protect your personal data as provided in this Policy;

an acquirer, or successor or assignee as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, as well as in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets;

supervisory authorities;

our lawyers, auditors, accountants.
In all other occasions, we disclose your personal data to third parties only with your prior consent.
Please note that when using Sentab in a communal setting (with other people around), your personal data, as well as the personal data of others in Sentab will also be visible to the people around.
WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Personal data will generally be stored in the United Kingdom but we may transfer to, and store at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), such as the USA. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted [using SSL technology]. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password, which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We implement appropriate organisational, technical and physical safeguards to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access and against all unlawful forms of processing. We apply data encryption technologies both in databases and data communication to protect its unlawful collection and use.
YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
To the extent required by law, you have the right to:

receive information about personal data we process;

obtain personal data relating to you;

ask us to correct personal data that is incorrect;

ask us to stop processing, disclosing or enabling access to, delete or close personal data the processing of which is not permitted on the basis of law;

turn to the Information Commissioner’s Office or the court to safeguard your rights.
You can either do this automatically in Sentab, when applicable, or by contacting us on the contact details provided below.
Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
Please note that you are responsible for the personal data of others that you obtain, publish or share through Sentab and confirm that you have the person’s consent to provide such personal data to us.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Should we decide to make changes to this Policy that have an impact on your rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you at least 30 days in advance by posting the changes on Sentab, and notifying you via e-mail. If you do not object to the changes by notifying us via e-mail or mail before they become effective or if you continue to use of Sentab after the changes have become effective, it indicates that you have read, understood and agreed to the changes. If you object to changes without which it is not possible to use Sentab, you will be deemed to terminate the Agreement.
